You must have proven ability to analyze a client’s industry position and provide insight and strategic direction as to business strategy, opportunities and issues, leading teams in the effective and insightful analysis of complex information and challenges. You must have a career with evidence of cases where you provided clients with clear, well-reasoned and effective project objectives and approaches to deliver them meaningful success.
Your communication skills and selling ability will be called upon as you discuss the project vision and detailed recommendations with project sponsors, client team members and upper management and executives. Your prior “book of business” will be of interest to us, showing a history of revenues that tell us your prior clients depended on you. You must have a track record of communicating and resolving issues without unnecessary escalation, conflict or confusion. Your legacy should be one built on people and project leadership and an ability to deliver information in a logical, clear and concise fashion, avoiding unnecessary jargon and “consultant speak.” You will lead teams in the development of deliverables, achieving the highest possible quality in content, organization and appearance.
