Why did you choose Syneos Health and what keeps you here?
I chose to join Syneos Health because in my view, it was the only life sciences consulting firm out there where the possibilities for my career would be truly limitless. Because Syneos Health is the only organization where clinical and commercial solutions are fully integrated, I knew that there would be ample opportunities to demonstrate my abilities and provide value to a larger audience beyond just my immediate team members. When you choose to change jobs and join another firm, you really only have your hunch that it’s the right thing to do. Since joining Syneos Health, there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by that hasn’t reaffirmed that I made the right decision.
What was your prior experience before joining Syneos Health? Did you come straight from school or from another industry?
I started my career as a life sciences consultant right after getting my MBA from Yale in 2012. I have previously worked as a consultant for IQVIA, Promidian, and Huron Consulting Group.
What has been your most favorite project at Syneos Health and why?
Right after I started, I was asked to help our Risk & Reputation Management Group plan and execute a payer working session at the 2019 AMCP Annual Meeting. I really enjoyed that project because it gave me the opportunity to interact with the client and with payers in a live setting and get a real-time pulse on how payers are thinking about the current and future managed care environment.
Which of Syneos Health's values speaks the most to you and why?
My favorite value is “Collaborate to deliver solutions.” Because Syneos Health provides uniquely integrated end-to-end services, I have an amazing opportunity to collaborate with and learn from colleagues with capabilities and expertise that are different from my own and who are truly the best there is at what we do – which in turn allows me to provide additional value to my clients.
What are some additional things you are involved with either at the office or outside, besides client work?
Outside of work, I’ve been involved on an ongoing basis with Frankie’s Feline Fund, which promotes the welfare of abandoned elderly and special needs pets by finding homes either through adoption or fostering. In my spare time, I’m also active in practicing yoga, reading, and traveling to destinations both near and far.
