Why did you choose Syneos Health and what keeps you here?
I joined Syneos Health for two reasons: the breadth of the projects and experiences I knew I would be exposed to and the culture that I experienced through my pre-interview conversations and during the interview process. My experience at Syneos Health has reflected these ideas – the projects I’ve experienced have been engaging and varied across topics and phases of development, and the culture is one of a fun place to work with compassionate employees.
What was your prior experience before joining Syneos Health? Did you come straight from school or from another industry?
Before Syneos Health, my background was primarily in Investor Relations for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
What has been your most favorite project at Syneos Health and why?
My favorite project was planning a commercial launch for a company that had no existing commercial organization in the United States. The team worked from the basics – researching the market and generating a strategy for the product – all the way up to building the commercial organization and the in-the-trenches planning of the launch itself. It was a great view into all the elements of a commercial launch and was a rewarding, challenging learning experience to deliver them to the client.
Which of Syneos Health's values speaks the most to you and why?
“Collaborate to Deliver Solutions. The Consulting team really demonstrates a commitment to helping one another not just on projects, but on professional development and moving on to the next step in your career.
What are some additional things you are involved with either at the office or outside, besides client work?
I consider myself lucky to be in the Santa Monica office because of all the different culture LA has to offer – exploring the city’s music, food, performances, and (occasional) nature is my favorite way to spend a weekend.
