Responsibilities

This is a customer-facing role with regular interactions with various client team members for data management services offered within the Sales Operations. The primary purpose of this role is to execute and coordinate technical activities/deliverables between both on-shore and offshore development teams, clients, external vendors and service providers. The candidate will work closely with internal teams including Project Management, Quality Assurance, IC, Business Intelligence, Targeting & Alignment and Compliance to determine project scope, work effort and expectations to ensure the success of ongoing data exchange processes. Works with team members in regards to the CRM implementations, data management framework, documentation and testing standards. Candidate will partner with vendors to ensure effective use of resources, technology, and data architecture to optimize service offerings and speed to market.  Follow established process governance to ensure consistency and efficiency across client implementations and ongoing data management activities.


The ideal candidate will have lots of data integration experience, knowledge of a CRM (like Veeva).  Knowledge of SQL** technology and Azure would be a plus. Unix/Spark would be nice but not required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following) 

  • Engage with clients to facilitate data management  related project delivery schedule
  • Engage with clients/external providers to facilitate data management  related project delivery schedule
  • Innovate, construct and enforce Data Management standards across all client implementations
  • Plans, deploys and monitors to deliver on new requests as well as takes action on data quality issues
  •  
  • Lead and guide ongoing data exchanges
  • Manage resources to ensure knowledge, exposure, and contribution are optimized
  • Manage vendors and service partners to ensure accuracy in technology usage and best practices
  • Mentor and coach technical staff for efficient support across multiple clients and services
  • Provide effort estimates and tracking of actual time across projects/teams to ensure proper scoping of work and its execution
  • Prepare design documents and presentations related to the activities of the data management  function within the organization
  • Ensure proper technical documentation and change management processes are followed in a compliance environment by documenting and validating data flows
  • Promote the use of a shared infrastructure and application/services roadmap to reduce costs and improve information flows
  • Engage as Subject Matter Expert to support Business Development as needed

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering

Requirements:

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and Life sciences implementations and awareness of commonly used data sources for Customer Master and Sales information
  • 5+ years of experience in working with data management teams within a sales and marketing environment
  • 5+ years of experience with data warehouse, MDM and data integration initiatives
  • Strong understanding of industry standards in areas such as CRM deployment strategies, Transparency Reporting, Customer Master and data warehouse
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience working in a production environment for multiple clients in a compliance industry
  • Experience with Salesforce.com/Veeva or a similar CRM system a plus
  • Experience with IQVIA/Symphony datasets a plus
  • Experience with end to end process in launching field sales teams, engagement center teams for Pharmaceutical clients a plus
  • Experience with Azure Synapse and Databricks a plus
  • Experience with Unix, PySpark and/or Python scripting a plus
  • Experience with Power BI or any visualization tool a plus
