In this role, we are seeking a customer-facing BA/BI candidate with 7+ years of experience. The candidate will be involved in day-to-day business discussions with key stakeholders and is expected to participate and manage daily project updates, collaborate with internal dev team on new business initiatives, gather requirements, and will be involved in the technical development of reporting needs, and respond to queries from users. The selected candidate should be able to turn around client adhoc requests quickly, doing some of the hands-on query building themselves, and reach out to the dev team for advanced questions. They should understand the business and data well and adapt fast.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development efforts as a liaison with business (internal/external) and technical partners, including managing stakeholder expectations, requirements gathering, quality assurance, implementation, and user adoption.
  • 10% travel to clients site required.
  • Serve as a strategic domain contact as well as point of escalation and accountability to ensure successful customer partnership and satisfaction.
  • Drive the execution of analytics strategy through the discovery, development, and implementation of leading-edge analytics that answer important business questions.
  • Align talent and resources to support enterprise and health plan needs by leveraging data to achieve strategic objectives and improve business performance.
  • Consult with business areas to identify the most important data driven questions and define initiatives to drive strategic objectives.
  • Promote the use of the latest tools and techniques for analysis to build sophisticated analytics products that power business decision making.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure continued advancement of the enterprise's analytics maturity in clinical.
  • Champion the creation and cultivation of insights and analytics driven culture across the customer clinical Business Users.
  • Provide guidance and manage the team involved in creating and implementing both reports and analysis that help maximize the effectiveness of clinical trial initiatives and strategies.
  • The position requires strong leadership, organizational and time management skills and serves as a coach that utilizes their healthcare/clinical business knowledge to develop and grow the skill set of the healthcare/clinical business analyst they manage.
  • Communicate key insights identified through analysis with the customer in driving data driven decisions.
  • Mentor, manage, and ensure the continuous development of the team
  • Engage with the customer on a day-to-day basis in understanding their requirements and translating them into requirements document for development and quality testing.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing with the customer.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in clinical domain, leading and managing team and guiding as an SME
  • Knowledge of operations in the health care industry and a strong understanding of business processes
  • Ability to manage and effectively communicate to the team prioritization and deadlines of projects
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with proven ability to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnerships
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
  • Experience with extracting and analyzing data and identifying issues
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from customers and team and requiring coordination with other departments
