Technology Lead

Overview

Syneos Health Creative Studio Network supports over 12+ Syneos marketing and communication agencies as well as direct-to-client engagements. For the Syneos Communications Group, the studio functions as the production arm of agencies’ technology teams who are responsible for the strategy and creative vision. Additionally the studio will also be expected to work on more complex, conceptual designs and work closely with dev staff to execute.

The Tech Lead possesses vast industry expertise and is looked   upon as a vital resource for internal, client and business development teams.   As the face of technology for your assigned teams/clients, your job is to   build trust and provide new ideas for solutions that bring business value to   our clients and to the company. You will be responsible for leading the   technical side of your projects, ensuring that development resources have   everything they need in order to do their job effectively; requirements are met; and the work was executed   optimally, on-time, and within the allotted budget.  

Responsibilities

•   Management and resource planning on a project-specific basis of required technical resources  
•   Assure the overall technical quality of the   solution.  
•   Help resolve key technology issues on projects.  
•   Document technical specification and guide digital projects   technically.  
•   Build and maintain the object model for the system using design patterns and levels of abstraction, ensuring future maintainability of the system  
•   Analyze existing data structures and object models for reusability  
•   Participating on Business Development team for new business pitches and RFI/RFP responses.  
•   Provide/confirm estimates (in both hours and timing) for the   technical portions of a given project. 
•   Mentoring of technical staff  
•   Keep current on new technologies that push the limits of what we can do creatively 
•   Build strong relationships with client IT teams  
• Each brand has unique policies and procedures, you will be relied upon as the authority within Syneos for your respective clients. 

Job Requirements

•   BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.  
•   Qualified candidates must have at least a minimum of 5+ years of experience working within the field of web development  
•   Ability to manage a group of senior digital engineers  
•   Knowledge of project management tools and processes.  
•   Ability to follow through with multiple tasks on concurrent multiple projects.  
•   Ability and desire to stay current on with new technologies through self-directed research. Must be able to ramp-up on new         technologies quickly.  
•  Ability to create, execute from and to maintain detailed functional and technical specifications such as use cases, object models,      screen specifications, database designs.  
•   Mentoring skills related to technical mentoring and career development.  
•   Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead discussions with the client is a must.  
•   In-depth knowledge current and past web technologies  
•   In-depth knowledge of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android  
•   Possesses a sense of ownership and accountability 
•   Drive to succeed
