The Engagement Center Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing and leading Engagement Center staff through virtual sales and support initiatives. The role serves as a champion for maximum productivity and quality control for all customers and products provided.

  • Supervise virtual sales and support activities to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement for the virtual sales representatives and identify team trends and patterns to drive results
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff, covering all aspects of customer service standards and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and initiate programs to enhance productivity and customer care.
  • Maintain contact with the client and other departments as a customer service liaison and troubleshooter to resolve complex customer service problems
  • Develop reports used in monitoring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Keep management informed of individual performance and team productivity
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis to determine customer service performance
  • Evaluate and train both current and new virtual sales representatives on customer service and problem-solving skills with patients and HCPs
  • Ensure that SLAs are maintained in accordance with contractual obligations
  • Keep abreast of the regulation, requirements, and changes to factors that affect the processing of patient and HCP requests
  • Hold regular sales meetings focused on sales progress, sales opportunities and growth, competitive issues, and ongoing training
  • Continuously coach and develop a strong sales process to help create opportunities to meet key KPIs and revenue goals

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • 5+ years of Business to Business of Pharmaceutical Sales experience (Virtual/Inside sales experience is a major plus)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a virtual sales environment
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience with pharmaceutical/medical call center environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively coach and motivate a team to meet expectations and achieve goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, GoToMeeting, and other sales and marketing automation tools

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed.
