Hybrid Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Customers include prescribing healthcare providers (Dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants) and their office staff working within a medical practice. The representative will work in a “hybrid” manner meaning there will be a defined mix of calls made in the field while leveraging phone calls/virtual sales calls while working from home. The week may look like 3 days a week in the field calling on customers and 2 days working from home calling customers and servicing their offices. Each territory will have specific healthcare providers as targets. The target list will consist of local targets to be called on in-person and remote targets to be called on via phone and/or virtual sales calls.

The Hybrid Sales Representative must demonstrate a strong knowledge of clinical data and pharmacology. The rep will deliver client product sales calls to a defined healthcare audience. They will also provide branded and non-branded disease state education to patients, practitioners, and their staff. They will provide education and lead discussions with office staff as well.

The Hybrid Sales Representative will be responsible for:

• Implementing the clients marketing plan to targeted audiences by using their professional expertise, clinical training, and judgment
• Delivering proficient and clinically-supported sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers
• Utilizing all marketing and selling materials designed for the respective audience in the assigned territory
• Independently planning and organizing activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a specific call plan
• Administration of territory information and compliance to reporting and regulatory requirements are imperative
• Participation and successful completion of training and development programs is essential
• Participation in National Meetings and some National Conferences will be required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or RN license required
• Strong preference for previous outside sales experience or business to business sales experience
• Sales Aptitude REQUIRED
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have excellent presentation skills with the ability to motivate and persuade others
• Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Must have the ability to work independently and with discretion and judgment without regular direct supervision
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have excellent computer skills since this position will leverage multiple types of channels to reach customers
• Must be results-oriented and have a high level of integrity and dependability
• Must have the ability to develop and execute plans against objectives while working in an independent environment
