This Opportunity

GSW Los Angeles is a full-service healthcare communications agency that goes beyond advertising to create personalized brand experiences. We develop strategic marketing solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech and health-and-wellness clients around the world. We create experiences that involve, inspire, educate, and activate people through ongoing brand journeys.

Our Account Services team is looking for an intellectually curious problem solver to join our team to help us continuously deliver strategic and data-driven solutions to our business unit partners and clients.

This is a 10-week internship; full-time over Summer 2022.





Responsibilities

  • Research current and potential clients and their competition to identify marketing situations and opportunities

  • Partner with social marketing manager and culture committee to develop/capture content and promote GSW LA through social media
  • Develop contact reports for key meetings/workshops for team and client distribution
  • Collaborate on presentations, thought leadership pieces and other strategic assets as needed for content and design refresh
  • Participate in ongoing project meetings
  • Partner with strategic, account, creative and operations discipline leads to complete assignments

Job Requirements

  • Students entering their Senior year Fall 2022
  • Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
  • Past internship experience or project work in Communications, Advertising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams), email, and voicemail 
  • Above-average attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a workload consisting of several concurrent projects or tasks
 

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.

I understand that if I am made an offer of employment, it will be conditioned on my demonstration I am fully vaccinated OR I plan to initiate vaccination by my start date AND be fully vaccinated within 4 weeks of start date against the COVID-19 virus.

I understand I can request an exemption from Syneos Health’s vaccination requirement based on a qualifying medical condition or sincerely-held religious belief. However, in the event that I successfully obtain an exemption, I understand that it is highly unlikely that I will be able to adequately perform the essential functions of this position without imposing an undue hardship on Syneos Health due to the clients’ demands.
