We are seeking a healthcare PR professional experienced in consumer disease awareness campaigns for an account focused in vaccines. This opportunity is unique in that while primarily unbranded focused, there are some branded synergies given the current infectious disease environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support team in executing multiple consumer-facing awareness activities featuring influencer engagement, creative content development and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Lead coordination with multiple external partners, as well as vendors and internal creative teams on powering a creative content engine
  • Oversee large production and development team in execution of short form videos, graphics, social content, etc and ensure it ladders back to larger communications strategy
  • Liaise with influencer partners, management teams, spokespeople and health experts on contracting and co-creating content
  • Help support development of traditional press materials such as releases, corporate social content regarding key brand milestones
  • Review and oversee development of timelines, calendars, action plans, agendas, call notes and overall account support materials  
  • Review and oversee project-specific social media monitoring and results reporting 
  • Support budget management and monthly billing processes 
  • Support day-to-day activities and serve as point of contact on key projects for core clients 
  • Regularly collaborate with partnering agencies, shared services, vendors, media and other third-parties 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a professional environment within the public relations and/or communications industries (required) 
  • Experience in healthcare communications; experience with consumer educational/awareness campaigns (both required) 
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in an incredibly fast-paced environment (required) 
  • Must have social media and influencer experience (required)
  • Must have ability to bring creative components to life with team  (required) 
  • Must have strong writing skills (required)
  • Must have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills (required) 
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties (required) 
  • Budget management experience (preferred)
  • Individual should be a self-starter/self-motivator 

 

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local Covid safety guidelines will be followed.
