You are a trusted partner during the most exhilerating time in a client's company history: a Product Launch.
The Launch Director is responsible for initially leading the launch readiness, development and execution of the playbook of go-to market plans for our clients. The role provides launch expertise, leadership, sophisticated project management and input as a member of Syneos Health. 



You’ll join The Commercial Advisory Group within Syneos Health Consulting. You will work with established & emerging life science clients leading the team that brings a disciplined approach to help our customers commercialize their brands. More specifically:

  • Provide leadership and direction on high quality launch excellence strategy & execution.
  • Lead the development and execution of the launch roadmap across all functions, serving as the primary point for launch planning, tracking progress, issues and communications. 
  • Assess risk to launch activities, timelines and executions, then drive solutions to mitigate those risks. 
  • Identify and solve issues and interdependencies on the critical path to launch;ensure key functions are aligned, integrated and working toward a common goal and launch roadmap. 
  • Support revenue and sales targets through direct client engagement and support project leads in client management, project delivery and sales activities. 
  • Successfully review project or data outputs, interpret results and develop/deliver presentations. 

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • An MBA or graduate degree (PhD, PharmD, etc) in business or life sciences.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in executing strategic and/or management consulting project engagements with heavy emphasis in areas such as launch planning, brand strategy or business development.
  • Previous experience leading launch engagements in a manager/lead capacity.
  • Experience with budgeting,planning and executing on key objectives with a cross-functional scope.
