This is a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months with the possibility to be renewed.

The Syneos Health Head of Marketing is accountable for key products within our client’s portfolio and leading a cross-functional team across the UK and Ireland.
The core objective for this position is to deliver a successful launch in the UK and Ireland to achieve performance goals. Ensure successful development and implementation of marketing initiatives to develop brands to plan and work with the global teams to influence and shape strategic and tactical plans.


• Generate external insights (unmet needs, competition, etc.) in association with commercial excellence, cross-functional team
• Deliver a competitive value proposition for our client’s products for the UK with their story, messages, and the associated marketing plans including services
• Own the Business Planning process for our client’s products across the Country to maximise sales with given resources, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Provide an accurate and realistic forecast of sales/ stock for given product(s) and to have overall responsibility for project management of cross functional team
• Identify, plan and execute all tactical programmes to deliver product strategy in collaboration with the cross-functional team
• Make resourcing decisions within existing constraints regarding product tactical programme
• Achieve the agreed objectives for the product(s), choosing appropriate action based on progress reports against budget, sales, KPIs
• Build and upskill the marketing team

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Significant experience with sales/marketing or product management in the pharmaceutical industry, must include the Biologics market
• Project management skills
• Strong presentation/communication skills
• Analytic skills and ability to handle complex issues
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong focus on execution & dealing with ambiguity
• Knowledge of NHS environment
• ABPI qualified
