Responsibilities

You’ll join the Value and Access team as a fully dedicated member of a specialty product launch team for a large integrated account within Syneos Health Consulting where you will help make Life Science organizations more effective, particularly in complex specialty markets, while giving products the strategic support they require. More specifically: 

  • Key member of the specialty product launch team  - dedicated to a client organization.
  • Serve as a market access subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with Global Market Access team to develop and leverage reimbursement & health economic & outcomes research insights to build and enhance the payer value proposition.
  • Lead competitive intelligence monitoring, market landscape research, payer and/or purchaser advisory boards, market access and copay programs.
  • Promotional review process for assigned projects, working with review committee for Customer approval requirements.
  • Support strategic launch planning, performance tracking and project reporting  
  • Develop the patient journey and contribute to the design and build of the patient support program
  • Participate in the Brand Leadership team meetings and work streams that report to the core brand team
  • Manage account budget, client invoicing, accruals, and other project finance requirements  
  • Provide market access subject matter expertise within the organization and participate in various business building initiatives     
  • Leverage data, analytics, and modeling resources from within Consulting to address client requests.
  • Identify additional business opportunities with client

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or life sciences (e.g. BS, BA, PharmD); Graduate degree preferred. 

  • Understanding of market access in the biopharma industry required
  • Previous experience with project management, consulting and / or communications agency required
  • Ability to manage ambiguity; adapt to fluctuating timelines and changes in scope of work.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs - spread sheets, presentation tools, and databases
  • Communication skills, ability to present insights and create storyboards from complex data and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Previous experience with line management or teaching/mentoring preferred, but not required
