Responsibilities

You’ll join the Value Access & Pricing Advisory group within Syneos Health Consulting. You will help clients navigate the market access landscape and achieve access-related objectives for their brand.  More specifically:

  • Develop business strategy through conducting primary and secondary research relating to Value Access & Pricing including evaluating access size opportunities, competitive and reimbursement landscape, mapping market access barriers.
  • Work directly with clients and Managing Directors to set project objectives, develop analytical frameworks, manage team responsibilities, and maintain timeline.
  • Elevate new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work, product enhancements or additional service offerings.
  • Understand the critical issues affecting the client and communicate key insights and recommendations based upon the case teams research and analysis.
  • Develop/deliver concise, impactful presentations for internal & external stakeholders.
  • Lead team members in complex analysis and problem-solving including problem structuring, analytical techniques, synthesis, and client implications.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to extend their skills and responsibilities as appropriate, conduct performance reviews & support overall recruitment/retention efforts. 

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:


  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in life science consulting, with increasing levels of responsibility/exposure to senior leadership. 
  • 2yrs + of experience leading projects and team members in the pricing & market access space.  
  • Experience designing and implementing value-based contracts, payer decision making tools, contract results monitoring
  • Strong presentation, storyboarding and PowerPoint skills
