Syneos Health is looking for a Digital Seach Specialist. In this role, you should be well-versed in principles of search engine optimization (SEO). You should also be analytical and good with numbers and reporting methodologies. Your goal will be to ensure digital and social marketing efforts are properly implemented, optimized, and have the highest possible return on investment.


  • Develop optimization strategies that increase our clients’ search engine results rankings
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
  • Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align on goals
  • Collaborate with others to manage SEO strategy for website copywriting, copy editing, and development of other digital and social copy
  • Assist and counsel with writing compelling and high-quality website content, for the sake of SEO
  • Assist with the creation of website manuscripts to include meta tags, OpenGraph tags, Twitter Cards, page titles, descriptions, etc.
  • Counsel on updating content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Counsel on writing effective copy for search ads
  • Work with SEO vendors
  • Keep abreast of SEO trends

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, WebTrends, Facebook Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Insights, Twitter Ads, etc.)
  • Understanding of HTML and XML is a plus (not required)
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking with strong math skills
  • Google Analytics certification is a plus
