Syneos Health’s Reputation & Risk Management practice is looking for an exceptional Account Supervisor / Senior Account Supervisor with a keen interest in their own professional development to join our rapidly growing group. We are looking to complement our team of seasoned consultants with an individual who has a voracious curiosity to learn, an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to develop new business and counsel senior executives.  Selected candidates will have access to learn and be mentored by senior thought leaders with expertise in crisis management, reputation, healthcare, media relations and brand advancement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute issues management strategies and programs for top clients.
  • Coordinate with client account teams across North America to provide issues management strategic counsel and execute support solutions and programs.
  • Act as the primary responder to clients and manage the timely delivery, execution and refinement of materials
  • Help organize and compile perspectives from a team of experts who inform client recommendations
  • Develop messaging documents and materials; ensure quality control and strong execution of deliverables
  • Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues across Syneos Health Communications for the service of client work
  • Contribute to the development of new business proposal and thought leadership activities
  • Provide ad hoc support across other focus areas/projects
  • Support teams through management of timelines, calendars and action plans
  • Manage client budgets, account staffing and monthly billing processes

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience; preferably 3-4 years dedicated to serving clients’ issues management needs (consultancy and /or agency preferred)
  • Proven experience developing effective strategies that have helped mitigate client issues.
  • Strong experience triaging issues and crises for clients in healthcare (or companies with issues related to health)
  • Excellent writing skills with comfort developing holding statements and messaging for a variety of audiences
  • Confidence advising clients in the midst of a breaking issue
  • Demonstrated history of contributing to successful business development
  • Comfort working in teams large and small
  • Experience with corporate reputation and executive visibility a plus
