This role will support finance and operation teams within Syneos Health’s Advertising division. This role will assist with ensuring efficient resource use and following best practices to communicate client revenue expectations, reduce risk of labor overages, monitor productivity, and other agency objectives as needed. This is not a financial reporting role or an accounting role, nor is it a true project manager role. It’s a unique hybrid role for a uniquely qualified candidate.

  • Relationship builder – enjoy working collaboratively across business (client management, operations, accounting)
  • Professional but approachable with an upbeat “can do” personality
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communicator
  • Understand basic high-level financial principles
  • Basic spreadsheet fundamentals (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
  • Accountable –takes role seriously and understands the importance of delivering on what is asked
  • Highly organized - able to follow through tasks to completion and within deadlines
  • Logic driven – if something doesn’t make sense, not afraid to ask questions and determine if there’s a smarter way to approach a situation
  • Natural curiosity - will research and figure it out what isn’t already known
  • Ability to get down in the weeds to problem solve but also able to step back and keep the bigger picture in mind
  • Previous advertising, operations, or financial experience helpful

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel
  • Exceptional Interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively
  • An individual who seizes opportunities and takes initiative as appropriate
  • Occasional travel may be required.
