Responsibilities

the opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing the talent acquisition function for our client.   Our client is a rapidly growing molecular diagnostics and healthcare data firm whose growth demands leadership, efficiency and innovation in their talent acquisition process.   The successful candidate will:

  • Improve the current talent acquisition process including but not limited to position approval, job posting process, ATS utilization, sourcing strategy, interview process/debriefs, offer creation and approval
  • Create a strategy for employee value proposition and employment branding
  • Develop comprehensive reporting for executive leadership
  • Manage current RPO relationship with TSP
  • Create a process for managing and engaging other external vendors
  • Influence and mentor existing client TA team

You will be responsible for providing team leadership and maintaining a culture of excellence centered around developing clients through trust, relationships and results. You will live and articulate “the power of personal.”

  • Oversee and take the reins to ensure exceptional recruitment delivery to our client partner
  • Provide guidance, inspiration and coaching to the recruiting team to meet and exceed performance goals and objectives.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders to understand client talent acquisition goals and initiatives.
  • Provide solution-based offerings to help achieve partnership objectives.

  • Appreciate the unique ingredients required for success when building teams and hiring for a rapidly growing organization

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications:

 

  • BS/BA degree is required.
  • At least seven (7) years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience with evidence of career progression evolving into a leadership role; health care or life science experience preferred
  • Have experience leading and developing high performing teams in a virtual and onsite setting within a corporate Talent Acquisition function or through an RPO partnership.
  • Experience in both RPO and corporate environments is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate strength leading talent acquisition in a high-growth environment
  • Will need to possess a high emotional intelligence as it relates to understanding how to best impact and work effectively with people at levels of the organization, with different motivators and personalities.
  • Ability to excel in an agile environment.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have strong problem solving ability.
