Can you see the big picture and the details? You have the potential to excel in this dynamic Senior Account Executive level role with Biosector 2.

We are searching for a motivated, proactive Senior Account Executive / Account Supervisor candidate with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in healthcare communications, to be a key team member for two dynamic accounts that have diverse PR programming opportunities including unbranded communications, disease state awareness, media outreach, event support, social media activations and corporate communications. Potential activities include external/internal content development, project management/tracking, billing and account management, regular client contact and collaboration with partners/vendors.

The candidate should be a strong writer (across multiple types such as media materials, digital content, client emails/presentations) and clear verbal communicator. They also should be organized; detail-oriented and uphold high quality control standards. Experience in using LMR review systems (e.g., Veeva) a plus. The ideal person is someone who wants to go to a place to learn and grow, is a go-getter who is proactive with both client work and their own development as well as collaborative and accountable.

Client Background

The client is a pharma company in the vaccines space. There are several workstreams for this client that we’d like the individual to work on, including a potential celebrity campaign, disease awareness campaigns, first-of-its kind video series, innovative social media activations and thought leadership. We have a respectful and engaged client who appreciate attention to detail, creative thinking and view us as partners. We also have a direct relationship with the marketing/brand team.

Responsibilities

  • Project tracking and status updates, including action plan development
  • Maintain regular contact with clients; proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward
  • Develop and edit internal/external communications materials, such as website content, media materials, social media content, video projects, presentations/remarks for internal meetings, memos for various internal audiences and intranet posts
  • Regularly engage and collaborate with partners, creative team, vendors, media and other third parties
  • MLR submissions
  • Billing support
  • Monitoring oversight

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries 
  • An interest in media relations, disease state awareness campaigns and corporate communications 
  • Strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning 
  • Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills 
  • An understanding of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations and issues management 
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment 
  • Account is fast-paced, so prioritization and time management skills are of utmost importance
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and third-parties 
  • Individual should be a self-starter/self-motivator and eager to learn new things 
  • Experience with data communications a plus 
  • Willingness to travel is required for client meetings and/or events
