  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), provides internal advice on a medical writing
  • Provides guidance and advice  to others on mitigation of key issues impacting any project/projects' delivery
  • Provides input and applies knowledge to develop new business offerings within the service line
  • Responsible for the training and mentoring of team members depending upon the project requirement
  • Arrange and/or deliver training and development activities to build internal skills and capabilities within the service line
  • Demonstrates continuous growth of knowledge and/or experience with focus on new business opportunities, growing the business with both existing and new clients
  • Leads or takes active involvement in the completion to responses to RFIs/RFPs
  • Is a key member of the Project management team and oversees successful project governance from initiation, execution and completion of project(s) for Kinapse’ Global clients
  • Oversees client commitment to the overall project approach, (e.g. resources)
  • Ensures consistent client/Kinapse understanding of project objectives, scope and high level timelines (involving the VP/head of outsourcing as required to resolve issues in this regard)
  • Oversees the development of realistic project plans with associated roles and responsibilities
  • Oversees status reviews, issue resolution and risk mitigation in conjunction with the resource model utilised on projects
  • Recommends and oversees the implementation of related people development initiatives through PDGs in collaboration with the PDG leads and oversight from VP/head of outsourcing


Job Requirements

        • Educational qualifications: A minimum of a scientific graduate degree from a well-known institution.  A second degree and/or experience of biomedical science would be an advantage
        • A proven track record in managing teams in the Medical Writing or Medical Information domain
        • A proven track record in business development success
        • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
        • Act as a subject matter expert and help the team members with day-to-day trouble shooting activities
        • An expert in the clinical development processes including principles of clinical study operations, and ICH-GCP guidelines
        • Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial targets in the annual planning cycle and throughout the course of the year
        • Is accountable for meeting business performance targets including revenue, profit, chargeability, pipeline value and project win targets
