The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be responsible for liaising and building relationships with priority Regional Accounts, including Integrated Delivery Networks, Vaccine Purchasing Groups, Regional Distributors and State FFS and Immunization programs. The RAM is accountable for actively differentiating and selling the product, establishing its value proposition, facilitating P&T committee reviews, submitting bids, leading negotiations and executing contracts. The RAM is responsible for gaining formulary access and reimbursement of our client's lead candidate. 

This role requires the RAM to interact with a broad set of professionals including pharmacy directors, medical directors, P&T committees and contracting managers.  The successful candidate is expected to be a high-impact professional who will be evaluated against established access and reimbursement objectives. The RAM reports to the Director, Corporate Accounts.

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has: 
  • BS/BA degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years in biopharma sales or account management
  • Proven relationships with regional accounts (e.g., IDNs) 
  • Vaccine and Buy & Bill experience 
  • Experience negotiating and executing contracts
  • B2B selling experience a plus
  • Ability to travel ~ 50%
