Can you see the big picture and the details? You have the potential to excel in this dynamic Assistant Account Executive role with Syneos Health Public Relations.

We are seeking a public relations professional to join Syneos Health Corporate Practice. The Corporate Practice provides corporate branding and reputation, executive visibility, thought leadership, employee engagement, change management and corporate social responsibility expertise to support the needs of the four PR agencies across multiple offices within the Syneos Health network. The client roster includes large, small and mid-size companies in the pharma, biotech, medical device, insurance and consumer health space.


  • Proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward. They will regularly engage and collaborate with agency partners within a highly matrixed organization, and support new business development and prospecting.
  • Importantly, there is a lot of opportunity within a rapidly expanding Practice to learn multiple skills and take on new responsibilities to quickly advance their career.
  • Success factors: Must be able to work collaboratively and be a proactive communicator. It’s important that this person be a driver and self-motivated.
  • A strong communicator, writer and strategist, the ideal candidate will be a high energy, collaborative individual who can manage teams while also rolling up his/her sleeves to work directly with clients to solve problems and implement programs


Job Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience in healthcare communications
  • Interest in media environment and media relations
  • Strong writing, and oral communications skills are critical
  • Strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning, attention to detail
