Overview

The Product Director is responsible for both product planning and product evangelizing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Technology team and IT to deliver unique and compelling insight products. It also includes coordinating with sales, marketing and customer service support to ensure market demand. The Product Manager also creates efficiencies across the business and ensures that the product and Roadmap efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and Roadmap both in Customer terms and Internal Teams
  • Role reports directly to the Business Leader-EVP
  • Deliver prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Be the expert in the Product Roadmap and Plan Forward
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Assist in pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Support in the Development of sales tools and collateral
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
  • Act as a leader within the company

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 year of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products—SaaS or Learning Company models
  • 5+ years of experience in a role in the research or equivalent service sector market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Technical background, with experience in MS Azure and BI tools preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills, Project management and writing to internal owners
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
