A new role within the EU omnichannel team, working across a wide range of areas including insight and research, experience design, product innovation and analytics.  The associate consultant will work with the team members in each of these areas to support delivery of projects and ongoing programmes of work.

This will require a broad skillset and an eagerness to learn, but in turn will allow them to develop expertise across the full spectrum of skillsets that constitute omnichannel at Syneos.

As an associate consultant your role will be to work with the other members of the Kinetic EU team in order to support delivery of a wide range of client work, ranging from discrete insight and strategy projects to ongoing product innovation and measurement programmes.

In this capacity you will work across a number of areas:

A core focus of the role will be product innovation, working with the Product Lead to help define, design and oversee the ongoing development of various innovative digitally focused products.  This would require an understanding of the principles of design thinking and web development, as well as strong client and project management skills.

A secondary focus will be insight and research, working with our Insight Lead to design and deliver customer insight projects covering both patients and HCPs – writing surveys and discussion guides, conducting interviews, analysing qual and quant data, and writing and presenting findings.

The role would also involve working with other members of the team on an ad hoc basis on areas such as omnichannel experience design, helping to identify the appropriate mix of channels and how they fit together, and measurement and analytics, working to define the appropriate metrics for a programme, then helping to analyse and optimize performance on an going basis.

Across all these areas, the following capabilities will be required on a regular basis:

  • Strong client service skills, involving day-to-day communications, as well as planning workshops with client teams at both a global and affiliate level if and where necessary.
  • Account management, which will involve day-to-day communications with clients or vendors, as well as understanding of how to efficiently manage time and budgets.
  • You must have strong project management skills and an openness to learning new tools and software to communicate with multiple stakeholders. (eg. Google, Atlassian, Jira).
  • You will provide support for new business opportunities thus must have a good understanding of insights and research approaches (or a willingness to learn).
  • You will also perform any other ad hoc or permanent duties as reasonably required by the company.

Job Requirements

  • A digital native with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a passion to make a difference.
  • A self-starter, able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A growth mindset, always looking to learn, upskill, apply to new opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in a healthcare agency environment preferred.
  • A genuine and demonstrable interest in the world of digital health / omnichannel marketing is critical.
  • Experience in marketing or digital, or alternatively looking to progress to AM level and beyond (ideally within a healthcare environment, but not critical).
  • Experience in helping to manage digital production projects (e.g. web build) welcome.
  • Experience in working on customer insight or market research projects also welcome.
