Overview

While reporting to the Bayer Manager, this role will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with Hemophilia community members and stakeholders (such as Patients, Specialty Pharmacies, Chapters, Home care partners, patient advocacy groups and caregivers), to support their needs and ensure long-term relationships and access.

Responsibilities

The HCC will work within the Hemophilia Community to establish the client branded and unbranded education programs and to promote Bayer’s commitment to the community. They will engage with client and non client Patients to support disease and treatment education and provide educational information on client products and collaborate with the HCP Field Force in achieving geography based business plan.

  • Serve as a critical partner to the Hemophilia Sales Consultant/Executives (HSC/HSE, HCP-Facing) and Area Business Lead by providing insight on Community Stakeholders and establishing a cross territorial business plan in alignment with the HSC/HSE.
  • Identify and manage relationships with other key customers in their territory in close collaboration with their HCP-facing Field colleagues (HSC/HSE).
  • Meet or exceed sales or volume metrics.
  • Be highly adaptive to multiple engagement channels (e.g., email, virtual meetings, face-to-face meetings, Speaker Programs, etc.) as determined by Customer needs
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by relaying feedback through the Regional Team and/or Marketing directly
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of hemophilia products and disease states
  • Become fully versed in priority Speaker Program topics, serving as a presenter within your territory
  • Support other HCS/HCEs in a Speaker Program or 1:1 capacity to advance strategic objectives

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • BA/BS required, biological science or related discipline preferred
  • 4 years’ experience in Hemophilia care, treatment, sales or advocacy - highly preferred
  • Prior sales experience in health care industry a plus but not required
  • Strong Collaboration Skills
  • Territory and organizational management skills,
  • Highly adaptive and willing to engage in Physical and Virtual channels
  • Excellent persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced ability to think strategically
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Must be able to handle extensive travel, overnight and weekend
  • Fluent in Spanish in selected territories
