Responsibilities

The CML will play a major role in the provision of affirmative HIV disease state, treatment and product education to people living with HIV (PLWHIV) and those at risk for HIV, case managers, social workers, peer educators and healthcare providers. The primary goals of the education are to empower PLWHIV or at risk of acquiring HIV and those supporting patients with knowledge that will ultimately drive HIV testing, linkage to care, diagnosis, effective treatment, and prevention of HIV.

The CML will be responsible for working within an assigned territory providing face-to-face and virtual speaking engagements as medical faculty to patient groups, community-based organization professionals, PLWHIV and HCPs on programs based on approved services, information, tools and resources. 

  • Provide engagement to CBO patient groups, CBO professionals and HCP’s on approved Disease State and Branded programs.
  • Deliver injection education programs as part of implementation for approved products
  • Identify insights (mVOC) of health professionals and patients surrounding ViiV’s product awareness, treatment and prevention of HIV and gaps in educational topics and support materials.
  •  Develops and maintains advanced presentation skills to facilitate dissemination of clinical information.
  • Communicate as required with managers, peers, stakeholders and Patient Organizations

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • RN, PA/NP (open to RPh, PharmD with HIV & injection experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced Practice degree preferred.
  • Relevant clinical experience in HIV/AIDS required.
  • Injection education experience is preferred.
  • Previous Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
  • Evidence of established, strong training/educator/presentation skills.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred.
  • Strong technical skills.
