Account overview

  • Global biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for rare diseases.
  • Business includes disease awareness campaign and data and regulatory milestones as well as several rare disease / scientific narrative and message writing, facilitating internal workshops, developing compelling resources to tell science stories (videos, infographics, fact sheets) and social media content

 

Responsibilities

  • A team member who will support overall team -- with strong client relations and familiarity with disease awareness initiatives and scientific communications
  • Project management, including working with cross-functional teams (e.g., digital, design) and tracking material edits, approvals and timelines will be essential across all work-streams
  • Support identifying and liaising with partners and spokespeople, coordination of advisory committee events, creating/refining data communications materials (e.g., QA/messages, social media content) and results tracking
  • Ideal candidate will also help coordinate and track interviews and workshops, support the development of internal and external educational materials and execute and monitor roll-out
  • Financial management – track monthly spend and hours; coordinate with finance on time moves

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience  in a professional environment within the public relations and/or communications industries
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third-parties
  • Self-starter/self-motivator
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is adaptable/flexible
