 Account Overview:

Account 1:

  • This long-time Chamberlain account blends rare disease corporate and product communications, issues, advocacy and community/patient engagement with a focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Business is focused in the U.S. and includes close integration across Syneos media, digital, creative and risk & reputation management teams, as well as advertising and consulting agencies supporting the same client
  • Potential opportunities for support include brand communications (i.e., data, regulatory, launches), patient and influencer engagement efforts, messaging/narrative, and advocacy engagement
  • Work with engaged clients who appreciate attention to detail, creative and quick thinking and collaborative

Account 2
  • Providing communications support for a global/immunology company working to bring a treatment for a rare disease to the market.   Work will include disease awareness campaign to raise awareness of the disease.  This includes celebrity engagement, media strategy and outreach and ongoing counsel
  • Respectful and engaged clients who appreciate attention to detail, creative thinking and view us as partners; direct clients are marketing, but with open line to other functions, including corporate communications/IR.


Account 1
  • Priority focus will be working hand-in-hand with VP & SVP to oversee and execute activities across various work streams, including marketed and pipeline products
  • Mentoring and managing members of the team, ensuring they are set up for success and are building capacity and confidence in managing their projects
  • Serve as strategic counselor and resource who can build client’s trust and confidence
  • Experience in using LMR review systems (e.g., Veeva)
  • Regularly engage with client teams and collaborate with partnering agencies, vendors, shared services and other third-parties
  • Tracking and reporting account metrics and finances
  • Developing smart, thoughtful strategic recommendations
Account 2
  • Priority focus will be overseeing team on execution of disease awareness communications 
  • Mentoring and managing members of the team, ensuring they are set up for success and are building capacity and confidence in managing their projects
  • Serve as strategic counselor and resource who can build client’s trust and confidence
  • Being a good financial steward; tracking and reporting account finances
  • Developing smart, thoughtful strategic recommendations; being able to tell a story through a deck is critical. 
  • Strong presentation skills required

Job Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in preferably in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry, and a bachelor’s degree
  • Able to juggle/prioritize multiple priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third-parties
  • Individual should be a self-starter/self-motivator
  • Support budget management and monthly billing process
  • Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications are important
  • Must have strong attention to detail, strong persuasive presentation skills
  • Robust, cross-functional project management ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials and counsel to support corporate communications, patient and advocacy campaigns, scientific exchange and media relations
  • Review and oversee development of timelines, calendars, action plans, runs of show, agendas, call notes and overall account support materials
