Overview

Cadent Medical Communications specializes in high science, high touch peer to peer medical communications. Responsibilities

Plans and executes all logistical elements of pharmaceutical speaker bureau meetings and Congress activities.  Senior Program Coordinators oversee the full program-planning process, including speaker and client communications, congress activity planning and asset management, venue and audio visual planning, audience management, material production and shipping, and financial reconciliation.  
 
Successful Senior Program Coordinators are excellent communicators, detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.  Duties of a Senior Proram Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Responsible for program management of up to 250 programs per year (based on specific client)
  • Builds understanding of and ensures client guidelines and business rules are followed
  • Manages budgets independently and ensures client and company guidelines are followed
  • Manage programs independently within any client or internal portals and platforms
  • Communicates independently with reps, speakers and vendors
  • Independently negotiates vendor contracts
  • Independently Secures audio visual based on client needs
  • Communicates and coordinates with our in-house travel agency regarding speaker travel needs
  • Responsible for ensuring programs are within client guidelines and budget post-program
  • Responsible for having difficult financial discussions with vendors pre-program and post-program
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively and efficiently with coordinators/account services / management
  • Identifies deficiencies and proposes process improvements
  • Provides account backup as needed
  • May be required to travel on-site to programs 5 – 15% of the time (weekends may be required)
  • Assists in the training and development of new program coordinators and interns (as needed)
  • Ability to manage multiple clients
  • Ability to be a main team resource for internal client business rules, policies, processes, and client portals

 

Job Requirements

  • College Degree or equal work experience 

    2-4 years Meeting & Event Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel 5 - 15% (weekends may be required)
