Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Launch and Field Excellence will assist with strategic alignment, development, delivery, & measurement of prioritized VAM initiatives to strengthen capabilities & ensure high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal department heads and other Syneos Health divisions to provide integrated solutions and consistent policies and procedures across VAM
  • Strategic oversight & management of multiple VAM skills, competencies, and training through cross-functional collaboration
  • Establish & maintain a set of VAM Capabilities that draws from current practices & expectations on what constitutes Field Excellence and Performance
  • Measure program/platform effectiveness and create performance dashboards for all programs/platforms
  • Oversight of training and field resource platforms
  • Training – Align on content for initial training and continuous competency improvements as it relates to – Extensive and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare marketplace, Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, Engagement and Presentation Skills
  • Onboarding – Develop more robust, repeatable  process
  • Work with client to ensure availability of relevant scientific and additional resources in a timely manner, support infrastructure associated with access and utilization
  • Technology evaluation and platform enhancement/implementation to maximize VAM efficiency and interactions
  • Provide strategic oversight for key VAM Excellence initiatives
  • Liaise and assist with Systems delivery
  • Respond to identified issues and escalates as appropriate to ensure resolution

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

Requirements

  • 5 Years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, leadership experience preferred
  • Experience working in Medical Affairs or Market Acces highly preferred
  • Demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Experience working in/across multiple functions
  • Proven track record of teamwork, leadership, timely decision making and results orientation in meeting business objectives
  • Project management competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Six Sigma Certification Highly Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale cross functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to understand the competitive environment and translate opportunities into business actions
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priority projects
  • Ability to exercise critical thinking skills: proactively identify issues, and address with solutions-oriented approach in fair and creative ways
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
