Overview

Cadent Medical Communications’ digital, social, and analytics offerings are growing. We have many live and new projects, and require a well-organized and analytical Digital Engagement Manager to lead projects for optimal delivery.
The role requires a flexible approach to supporting multiple accounts and project types. This person will strive for new challenges, be decisive and enjoy briefing teams, and owning and improving processes. They should be motivated by innovation, proposing and guiding digital projects, and ensuring quality of outputs and team achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for effective delivery of assigned projects, whether as a client lead or as support for digital projects within our accounts.
  • Delivery includes scoping & planning, briefing, financial, timeline & status tracking, and managing approval process.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with teams - knowing when it’s right to challenge the norm and offer alternative approaches or solutions
  • Be a champion of digital and social strategy and innovative solutions, working alongside leadership to sell existing products and push new offerings:
  • The role will report into the medical communications’ VP, Engagement Strategy, with a mission to further develop the digital capabilities within US medical communications
  • Our digital offering is focused on the following activities; multichannel strategy, engagement planning and implementation including email campaigns and social media campaigns, medical websites, website development, e-learning, interactive publication tools, virtual event booths and exhibit content, and well as insight-focused projects (e.g. digital influencer mapping, e-landscaping and online competitor analysis)
  • To be a champion of the Syneos Health network, therefore connecting the right person/team to the appropriate projects
  • Understand and adhere to technical specifications, client processes and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and support account teams where further opportunities are possible
  • Develop and present new business proposal to existing and new clients

Job Requirements

Personal

  • Must have a passion for innovation and digital communications, with the ambition to deliver new and challenging projects

  • Motivated and interested in learning new skills, tools, and project types
  • A consistent and clear communicator who is able to establish effective ways of working with multiple clients and internal teams

Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a qualification or training in digital marketing
  • 4-5 years of experience delivering digital, social, or analytical projects within an agency - ideally with medical communications experience.
  • Understands the often restricted environment in which we operate in healthcare, and the expectations from our clients
  • Understands and speaks the technical language needed to work on digital projects, and how to simplify this when communicating to client stakeholders
  • Is familiar with web-based technologies for web-builds and those that can increase project efficiency, and is effective with MS Office tools, such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with social media platform capabilities for organic posts and paid campaigns
  • Can manage data sets, including research outputs and measurement dashboards
