Responsibilities

With diabetes effecting millions of people each year, better treatments and options for management directly increase a patient’s quality of life. Lead a team promoting a technology that does just that, increasing a patient’s time in glucose range and reducing diabetes complications with zero fingersticks and no calibrations required.

The District Manager will report to the Syneos Health National Business Director and will be directly responsible to hire, train, develop, and coach the sales team in their district to successfully promote the product to targeted physicians. Additionally, the District Manager will motivate, manage, and develop the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district. The role requires effectively identifying and monitoring multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships, while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies. You will:

  • Lead, manage and develop the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in your district
  • Hire, train, develop and coach new and existing sales representatives
  • Effectively identify/monitor multiple local market conditions and build strong customer relationships
  • Monitor all field activities to make certain all are within compliance guidelines
  • Provide feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing, and field clinical teams

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical or related sales experience required
  • 3+ years of district or regional management experience required
  • Diabetes experience is preferred
  • Documented proven and consistent track record of success in sales leadership
  • Exemplary coaching and development experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team performance in a high growth environment
