Responsibilities

While reporting to the Syneos Health National Sales Director and Engagement Center Management, this role will be responsible for delivering branded messages to targeted HCPs using approved marketing and sales materials for a Metastatic Breast Cancer Product. The Tele-Sales Consultant will represent our client as an emerging leader in the healthcare industry and under moderate supervision will be responsible for providing outbound marketing and inbound customer telephonic support in a pharmaceutical environment. Primary responsibility will be making calls to clients/customers (such as HCPs, physicians and nurses) to market/detail the Oncology product utilizing a call script/guide and entering the data into CRM/OCE. You will develop a daily/weekly call schedule to insure efficient and comprehensive coverage of your assigned territory. You will also support and collaborate with the field sales team and support field vacancies when assigned. Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following:

  • Achieve contract performance goals and objectives as established in the client agreement.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all company approved product information.
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate product presentations using all marketing and selling materials.
  • Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to insure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory.
  • Pre and post call analysis of calls.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Help to maintain required project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Provide approved localized formulary and managed care information.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints. Depending on the issue they would transfer to med info
  • Provide customers with product and service information.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ years of sales experience (pharmaceutical, B2B, or related)
  • One or more years of call center experience preferred
  • Expert selling skills including customer engagement/relationship building success
  • Experience in high-pressure and fast paced environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Self-motivated/strong performance orientation
  • Strong communication, written and verbal through a virtual environment
  • Excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
  • Powerful customer focus
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Technical /Computer proficiency including MS Office
  • Is able to multi-task and work in different databases
