This opportunity is with Syneos Health Consulting, an industry-leading consulting firm specializing in the biopharmaceutical industry providing services across a comprehensive range of key Practice Areas including commercial strategy and planning, medical affairs, risk and program management and pricing and market access. You’ll join a team with industry focus, depth of functional expertise, and strong scientific and market knowledge that is uniquely positioned to tackle highly complex business and market challenges to develop achievable strategies for our clients. More specifically:

A Consultant is an individual contributor on consulting projects and is responsible for conducting both secondary (i.e., analytically and scientifically based) and primary (i.e., physicians, payers, and patients) market research, creating high-quality project materials and client deliverables (including organizational, portfolio, and asset-specific recommendations), and beginning to develop client relationships, as well as subject matter expertise.  Expectations include the ability to structure and complete individual project tasks on time, develop action-oriented, data-driven solutions, and communicate proactively and effectively with team members and project management/leadership.




  • Work closely with our clients on a daily basis to understand their challenges, requirements, and market access issues
  • Provide support for project delivery and structure project approaches, react to changing timelines, and requirements, and deliver on commitments to time and to budget
  • Support the design and structure of impactful project reports, workshops, and presentations that are tailored to the needs of the audience
  • Lead or facilitate project workshops and presentations along with Project Manager/Director
  • Delivery of client projects will include writing reports, value propositions, environmental/therapy area analyses, desk and market research, and contributing in client meetings (virtual and face-to-face)
  • Support proposals for potential solutions; liaising closely with colleagues across multiple organisational groups, to support the delivery of complex, multifaceted solutions and engagements
  • Proactively broaden knowledge of consulting and pricing methodologies and the health and life sciences industries through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities


Job Requirements


Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:


  • A curious mind with a passion for problem-solving 
  • In-depth knowledge of the market access environment in US and Europe especially EU5 countries 
  • At least 4-5 years of previous market access consulting experience 
  • Experience in delivering on pharmaceutical pricing projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies (Preferred)
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail 
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal & influencing skills 
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) strong communication skills using all mediums
