Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions team, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Drive outstanding performance to achieve or exceed all sales goals utilizing a variety of methods including phone, virtual tools and face to face selling
  • Effectively use assigned budgets to drive therapeutic and territory expectations. Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs
  • Provides input into resource allocation decisions across territory. Identify and select programs/resources available and appropriate for each customer
  • Provide support to marketing, sales training and other cross-functional teams. Assist with in-house execution of special projects and initiatives
  • Regularly use a variety of analytical tools to understand and evaluate the business in order to best determine how to accomplish sales objectives
  • Develop a business plan that ensures achievement of all KPI goals and delivery on all sales objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related required
  • 5+ years Specialty Pharmaceutical sales experience required with a proven track record of success
  • 1+ years of Rare disease, Hematology or Oncology experience preferred 
  • Proven track record of success in all respects of Specialty Pharmacy Sales and HUB experience required 
  • Understanding of Managed Care, especially Medicare Part D is a plus
  • Strong restrictive reimbursement product experience preferred
  • Strong clinical selling and pull through experience required
  • Strong communication via phone and virtual selling required
  • Strong level of business acumen required
  • Ability to both travel while also performing all functions of the position virtually and via phone
