Overview

The Managing Director will be an integral member of the team launching our clients lead product across Europe. This role is critical for creating and successfully executing a comprehensive commercial plan across Germany for the successful launch and growth of the product that has blockbuster potential. The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall German business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of working in complex environments and has had to prove their ability in not only managing product launches but also in establishing whole products/brands into the German healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Management of all country operations and ensure that revenue and profit targets are met
  • Close collaboration with the Market Access team to define and support local market access
  • Provides insights, planning and implementing local strategies and materials and leading localisation process
  • Build, lead and develop a sales force, to assure that appropriate levels of talent are positioned to execute our client’s business plans

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical commercial and sales experience
  • Demonstrated track record of successful product revenue launch and/or growth
  • Proven ability to plan and implement national projects
  • Knowledge of regional market access environment and experience to work with local MA stakeholders desired
  • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
