  • Must have significant product PR experience. History of FDA data communications, product approval communications, medical meeting strategy and support
  • Overall management of client relationships with ability to provide daily strategy and direction to team
  • Ability to manage bi-coastal teams
  • Responsible for new business deck development with creative thinking and attention to detail
  • Mastery of managing client budgets and project billing
  • LA business includes brand communications (i.e., data, regulatory, access), opportunistic media, stakeholder relations, issues management, internal communications, social media/digital and measurement
  • Potential for travel to major medical meetings and new business pitches

Responsibilities

  • Senior client relationship manager
  • Will manage teams responsible for product PR 
  • Priority focus will be on brand communications surrounding major congresses, publications, regulatory actions and issues preparedness. This will include client and team management and relationship management of relationships with external thought leaders to help inform brand communications program and positioning
  • Additional potential to manage unbranded patient engagement programs and employee engagement programs

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of strong client relations expertise and familiarity with branded pharmaceutical product and scientific communications is required
  • Rare disease background is a plus but not required;  however, team members must have deep interest in scientific and data/regulatory communications
  • This candidate must have history of strong project management skills, including team management and delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning. Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills are critical. Additionally, a mastery of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations and issues management
  • Willingness to travel is required for new business and client meetings and events in this role. May also need to work weekends during certain milestones
