: Synoes Healths' Corpoate Communications Practice  is one of our fastest growing practices in the Commercial space. It is considered a shared service among our Public Relations Practices. Our client roster consists of large, small and mid-size companies in the pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device, insurance and healthcare space. It is a very collaborative and eclectic group of professionals that deliver communications strategies that put our clients' needs first and foremost.   

 

The Corporate Communicatins Practice is part   of Syneos Health Communications, a purpose-built collective of agencies focused on supporting health and biopharmaceutical innovators. We are seeking a Vice President to join the Syneos Health Corporate Practice. The Corporate Practice client roster includes large, small and mid-size companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payer and health space.

Responsibilities

  • The person in this role would be the client day-to-day contact. They will be responsible for program implementation and program management, strategic counsel and have account administrative responsibilities. They will develop media materials (press releases, Q&As, message documents), media and conference topics for executives, internal communications and employee engagement materials, slides (be able to clearly write up support development of strategic plans, program tactics, timelines) and scopes of work. They will oversee media outreach and identify and place executives at appropriate forums to increase their visibility.
  • They will collaborate closely with senior management to identify and pitch client prospects, they will also be integrally involved in developing new offerings tailored to the needs of our client base.

 

Job Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications and internal communications (healthcare experience is not required but is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the media environment and media relations strategy
  • Excellent writing skills including PowerPoint and Excel skills (ability to clearly write strategic plans, program tactics, program materials, develop timelines and scopes of work)
  • This candidate must have strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning. Strong writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications skills are critical.
  • Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, attention to detail and oral communications are required.
  • Agency background preferred (but open to in-house)
