We are searching for a motivated candidate with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in healthcare communications, to be a key team member for a dynamic account.

  • Client is a biotech with a focus on improving the lives of patients living with rare disease. They have a number of products in the pipeline with an anticipated approval of their first product in 2021. 
  • Our first assignment is on a product used to treat pediatric growth hormone deficiency (GHD). 
  • Clients are extremely enthusiastic about PR – but also welcome our guidance as this is the first agency the company has had for this product
  • This is a new client for the agency with a significant opportunity for growth in the coming years


  • Priority focus will be overseeing team on execution of branded communications including data publicity, regulatory communications and disease awareness, developing brand media strategy and plans, managing development of all messaging and traditional and social/digital media materials
  • Mentoring and managing members of the team, ensuring they are set up for success and are building capacity and confidence in managing their projects
  • Serve as strategic counselor and resource who can build client’s trust and confidence
  • Being a good financial steward of Global and US accounts; tracking and reporting account finances
  • Developing smart, thoughtful strategic recommendations; being able to tell a story through a deck is critical. 
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Working to identify growth opportunities on account
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and/or events in leadership role

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries (required)
  • Experience with regulatory milestones in highly competitive marketplaces (preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment (required)
  • Ability to anticipate client and team needs and pivot, adjust as necessary (required)
  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor junior staff, manage plan timelines and budgets (required)
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third-parties (required)
  • Must have strong attention to detail, strong persuasive presentation skills (required)
  • Individual should be a self-starter/self-motivator (required)
  • Writing, organization, logistics, collaboration, and oral communications are important
