Syneos Health, in partnership with a top biopharmaceutical company tirelessly dedicated to restoring brain health, is seeking Neuroscience Account Managers as part of a nationwide team to communicate and promote neurological disease-modifying therapies.


This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners’ with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. As a Neuroscience Account Manager, you will act as the primary customer contact executing sales and marketing strategies. You will collaborate with our client to maximize new business opportunities with physicians and other health services. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory, and more specifically:

  • Proactively demonstrate and promote client’s products to targeted and non- targeted physicians and healthcare professionals in territory and develop an appropriate territory business plan to influence their prescribing decisions for the appropriate patient
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influential customers in the territory to enhance company and/or product loyalty and build the client’s brands
  • Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities
  • Utilize defined selling model by obtaining maximum commitment from customers on every call to impact positive territory engagement results
  • Leverages understanding of clinical studies and managed care to consult, influence and maintain customer relationships. Customize discussions with physicians based on their needs
  • Demonstrates the ability to stay informed on reimbursement dynamics, anticipates and communicates impact on product portfolio to key internal and external partners

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 4+ years’ pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical sales or related experience required
  • 2+ years promoting and detailing specialty products within a specialty sales force required
  • Previous hospital, specialty pharmacy or buy & bill/injectable sales experience preferred
  • Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical, scientific, and commercial information to drive increased product utilization among assigned customers
  • Strong sales aptitude and selling related experience through education and/or work experience
  • Excellent track record of success: Documented accomplishments that illustrate initiative, creativity and a drive to get the job done.
  • Residing within 40 miles of territory boundaries preferred
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts
  • Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required
