The Applied Data Science team at Syneos Health is looking for an entrepreneurial analyst to help build the omnichannel analytics practice for one of the world’s top biopharma commercialization companies. Healthcare or pharma experience a plus, but not required. If you enjoy building things and collaborating with a brilliant group and have an entrepreneurial spirit, this role is for you.

This position would give one the opportunity to work across teams to create data driven solutions and give one the opportunity to collaborate with Team Leaders to help pharma, biotech and medical device clients use data to evaluate effectiveness of their marketing strategies, while offering meaningful and challenging work in a team of supportive colleagues.

The Applied Data Science group at Syneos Health is a dynamic, creative team that uses ML technologies to make drug commercialization activities more effective and efficient across personal and non-personal channels. Syneos Health is an accelerator that helps biopharma companies around the world to research and commercialize new therapies.


Analyst is responsible for creating measurement plans, identifying relevant marketing performance KPIs, integrating data from multiple sources and partners, and delivering reports and recommendations to the clients.

  • Lead projects by developing plans, ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating work of contributing teams.
  • Participate in preparing and delivering RFP responses
  • Develop measurement plans for omnichannel marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate data handoffs between different stakeholders
  • Design optimal targeting strategies and media spend allocations
  • Analyze campaign performance data, interpret the results within the business context, and develop recommendations
  • Deliver analytical findings and recommendations to clients via reports, presentations, dashboards and other tools
  • Lead internal and external workshops and brainstorming sessions

Job Requirements

  • 4-6 years analyzing omnichannel marketing campaigns in an agency environment
  • Effectively presenting recommendations to C-level executives, conducting workshops
  • Creating analytical dashboards
  • Deploying and using technologies for ad serving, measurement, and analysis
  • Applying advanced analytical methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
