Overview

We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator who will be involved in all levels of recruitment related activities for our candidates from end to end of the process.  This position requires an individual who can multi-task and work well under pressure in a demanding environment all while remaining extraordinarily organized, positive and having a keen eye for detail. This is also a unique opportunity to become involved with critical projects, process improvement initiatives, reporting, metrics and analytics.

Responsibilities

As part of the Talent Acquisition team the primary responsibilities are partnering with the recruiters and our internal stakeholders to ensure that we provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. For all hiring in the Communications Division, the Coordinator supports each stage of the candidate experience, including interview scheduling/follow-up notifications as well as:
  • Provide exceptional client service to candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire hiring process
  • Point of contact for candidates, recruiters, hiring managers and external agencies for all interview scheduling
  • Maintains data integrity of recruiting system as well as Internet and social media recruitment
  • Centrally administers recruiting contracts and agreements
  • Tracks and reports on activity metrics
  • Point of contact for HRBP’s with regards to offer extension and paperwork
  • Supports Head, Talent Acquisition, Communications with multiple projects
  • Perform candidate reference checks
  • Identify Academics, Associations, and Societies etc. for different specialties
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to identify top talent for all internal and external positions in assigned region.
  • Manage low volume full life cycle responsibilities from sourcing/advertising through final offers.
  • Graduate Training program coordination and support
  • Job description database coordination and management
  • Manage referral program – email blast, programs to encourage participation, etc. (Conduct phone screens of referral candidates eventually)
  • Research industry events recruiting team should be attending
  • Coordinate in office recruitment events, branding events & career fairs
  • Coordinate weekly staffing meeting

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant industry experience

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum of 1 year prior experience in a Recruiting or Staffing Operations or Recruiting/Sourcing role.
  • Experience in a Communications agency a plus
  • Knowledge of ATS and Web based recruiting tools to include Social media
  • Perform advanced web/database queries and Boolean searches
  • Able to develop rapport with others and work in a team environment
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change
  • Should have demonstrated experience to source, recruit, and qualify candidates/leads
  • Proficiency in Internet applications, major job boards and demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
