Our European Consulting team is looking for driven and intellectually curious individuals to join the team and experience first-hand what it feels like to work for life sciences clients.

Internships typically take place over an 8-10 week period during the summer. Interns joining Syneos Health Consulting will have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally through participating in hands-on project work, benefiting from ongoing professional development, and engaging in networking and social events.

The ideal candidate is about to enter the final year of a bachelor’s program, ideally life sciences related. We are also open to considering candidates working towards a business or economics bachelor’s degree with a keen interest in life sciences. We are looking for individuals who are looking for focus in their careers and are keen to take the first step in their development journey. There is potential for these internships to turn into full time employment. Intellectual curiosity, strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.


  • Be part of a client-facing project team from day one. You will work with an experienced team of consultants on designing and implementing solutions and develop your own set of consulting skills.
  • Support your project by conducting research, performing analyses and developing client deliverables and communication materials.
  • Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recommend creative ideas based on personal experience, and industry best practices.
  • Help prepare and attend client meetings and learn how to facilitate meetings and workshops.
  • Support project planning and management activities.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should be about to enter the final year of a bachelor’s program (or equivalent) in life sciences, business or economics –related disciplines (highly preferred)
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication competency, including presentation delivery and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to research and analyze data from various sources
  • Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work in large, cross-functional teams
  • The drive for self-development and an action-oriented work ethic
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel will be required for this internship.
