Under moderate supervision the inside sales nurse is responsible for providing inbound and outbound customer (HCP) support in a pharmaceutical environment. 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implements and executes in a compliant manner marketing and sales direction to achieve promotional objectives
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with pharmacies and physician groups
  • Answers incoming calls in professional manner following client guidelines and Business Rules.
  • Perform outgoing calls in professional manner following client guidelines and Business Rules.
  • Work with internal client regulatory and TeleSolutions Manager to efficiently and effectively resolve customer needs.
  • Display exemplary phone etiquette following approved call scripts.
  • Focus and provide exemplary customer service.
  • Works collaboratively with Syneos staff across service lines.
  • Complies with departmental standards regarding training, professional development, communication, management of workload, and safety/emergency situations.
  • Understands and utilizes the InContact Telephony System and records appropriate information in the SalesForce.com database in accordance with customer Business Rules and training.
  • Keeps abreast of the regulation, requirement and changes to factors that affect the processing of any HCP request or inquiry

 

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) or BSN
  • 1+ years of clinical experience.
  • 2+ years experience in the customer service field/ or a combination of education and experience (telephonic case manager, wellness consultant, telephonic triage specialist, Pharmacist, etc)
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales in  pharmaceutical or device experience or equivalency highly preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to multitask, take direction, maintain prioritization, and analyze information.
  • Must have clinical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Power-point & Excel.
  • Must type 35 wpm or better.
  • Knowledge of internal computer/operating systems
