Assists in the planning and technology support of pharmaceutical meetings. Initiates venue sourcing, creates and updates registration web sites, oversees and modifies program reports, and provides support to the Medical Meetings & Events team at Cadent Medical Communications.


Key Job Responsibilities:

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)


Internal Team Support:

  • Coordinate technology needs with the internal team to support pharmaceutical meetings
  • Manage internal requests for venue sourcing, registration site launch, reporting
  • Support Global Operations Manager with development and implementation of On Arrival, Crowd Compass and Cvent Flex rollouts
  • Assists with quality control by reviewing Cvent sites built by other program managers
  • Manage the monthly reporting to initiate billing for Cvent registration fees and other services used 
  • Identifies and proposes process improvements for business execution and growth
  • Assists in Cvent training and development of new program managers and specialists
  • Tasks as needed and approved by manager


Meeting Support:

  • Knowledge of Cvent to provide:
    • Venue Sourcing
    • Registration Site Builds
    • Communication Templates (Save the Dates, Invitations, Travel Confirmations, Reminders)
    • Reporting (Reporting per Client Specifications)
    • On Arrival premium
    • Crowd Compass Mobile App creation
    • Weekly status meeting with meeting team for current status, updates



Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Required:            

    • College Degree
    • 2-3 years Registration Platform Experience, Cvent
    • Cvent Certification preferred
    • Proficiency in Cvent Platform with Venue Sourcing, Site Builds, Reporting, On Arrival and Crowd Compass App Development
    • Microsoft Office Applications
    • No Travel Required


    Core Competencies:

    • Cvent knowledge
    • Previous meetings or pharmaceutical experience is preferred (but not mandatory)
    • Must have excellent communication skills; ability to establish and maintain excellent professional relationships with internal and external customers
    • Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while continuing to work within established deadlines
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • Ability to think strategically while in high-demand situations
