Syneos Health’s Reputation & Risk Management team is looking for an exceptional senior consultant and strategist to join our rapidly growing communications practice. If you’re looking for a dynamic role in an ever-changing environment where learning and challenging yourself is expected -- this job may be for you.
What you’ll do: You will serve as a senior consultant on client business as well as contribute to business development and client growth. Specifically, this role must oversee communications and stakeholder engagement strategies relative to reimbursement, affordability and access to new and existing medicines. Maintaining familiarity with evolving federal, state and payer policy will also be required.
Daily activities will require solving problems, creating strategic plans, overseeing team deliverables, and providing strategic counsel and communications materials to clients.

Fluency in health policy and pharmaceutical commercialization preferred.
Who we are: The Syneos Health Reputation & Risk Management Practice is a team of healthcare communications consultants, policy-shapers and crisis response specialists. We provide unique solutions to the evolving communications challenges in today’s healthcare industry, using evidence-based approaches to help our clients successfully navigate the most sensitive milestones for their companies. We live and breathe healthcare—tracking trends, analyzing emerging policies, and translating company messages to patients, providers, investors and policymakers.
Our practice is the best of both worlds: a nimble culture with immense opportunities to grow and inform our service portfolio while having regular access to Syneos Health’s global network and resources.
Who you are: We’re looking for a self-described healthcare “nerd”—someone who wants to think about complex national (and global) healthcare issues and advise clients on communications implications. To succeed in this role, you need a knack for solving problems quickly and an ability to be poised under pressure. Candidates must have a proven track-record of resourcefulness and hands on experience gathering available information to formulate persuasive recommendations and action plans. Excellent writing, verbal presentation and power point skills are required. The position is half communications and half consulting.
