In this role, you’ll strategize and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the Managed Markets and Sales teams to gain and maintain appropriate product access and coverage for our client. You will develop and enhance key strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to consistently grow revenue. More specifically you will:

  • Deliver the pre-fda approval information exchange deck and associated resources after FDA approval to include value proposition and other supporting payer marketing tools
  • Optimizing product formulary positioning and increase product market share via leadership of collaborative plan pull-through initiatives with field sales, brand marketing and leadership
  • Facilitate pull-through at the national and regional levels and provide other account management services that optimize patient access while mitigating potential barriers
  • Develop a wide range of clinical, medical, pharmacy, and executive advocates within influence functions of customer’s business
  • Complete analysis and develop business cases, owning all aspects of communication and engagement for internal multi-functional reviews and approvals
  • Develop and deliver account proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, execute contracts, monitor and measure profitability
  • Provide updates to leadership on assigned account activities and trends, recommending, defining, and implementing tactics to maximize product sales and profitability across all assigned accounts
  • Profile payers pre-launch and build / execute upon payer account access strategies
  • Develop account specific strategic business plans, execute against them, and provide quarterly business updates

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or life science. MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years progressively responsible experience within Market Access is necessary with at least 2 years in Account Management
  • Current relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in Womens Health preferred
  • Experience with product launches is highly desired
