Overview

We are seeking a Vice President to join the Syneos Health Corporate Practice. The Corporate Practice client roster includes large, small and mid-size companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payor and health space.

  • We are fastest growing group within PR
  • This year alone, we are set to grow by 55% over last year, and we are coming in 40% over plan
  • We launch 1-2 new offerings each year

 

Responsibilities

The person in this role would be the client day-to-day contact. They will be responsible for program implementation and strategic counsel and account administrative responsibilities. They will develop media materials (press releases, Q&As, message documents), media and conference topics for executives, slides (be able to clearly write up support development of strategic plans, program tactics, timelines) and scopes of work. They will oversee media outreach and identify and place executives at appropriate forums to increase their visibility.

They will collaborate closely with senior management to identify and pitch client prospects, they will also be integrally involved in developing new offerings tailored to the needs of our client base.

Job Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications (healthcare experience is not required but is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the media environment and media relations strategy
  • Excellent writing skills including PowerPoint and Excel skills (ability to clearly write strategic plans, program tactics, program materials, develop timelines and scopes of work)
  • Strength in financial management and program management of client business
  • Agency background preferred (but open to in-house)
