We have an immediate need for an experienced Recruiter to join our team on an immediate contract/temporary basis!  This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to provide better, smarter, faster solutions for the industry. 

The Contract Recruiter is responsible for developing and maintaining a network of qualified candidates to support and provide full life cycle recruitment services for Syneos Health. The Contract Recruiter will work with internal hiring managers to identify open positions, agree on candidate profile and provide high quality, screened candidates to fill assigned open positions within an established timeline.  The Contract Recruiter must maintain long term positive candidate relationships to enhance our Recruitment Services and Syneos Health market position and business opportunities.  This role will be focused on recruiting for open positions within our Syneos Health Commercial business such as Client Services, Sales Operations, Engagement (Call) Center, and Project/Program Management.  More specifically:

  • Develop/Execute Recruiting Strategy (for each open position)
  • Personally source candidates through Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, CRM, networking etc…
  • Personally screen candidates as necessary
  • Update candidate records in ATS
  • Interview all qualified candidates
  • Manage candidate progress through hiring manager interviews
  • Primary recruiting contact with all qualified candidates
  • Promote referral program, manage referrals and provide feedback to referring party
  • Utilize additional resources appropriately
  • Manage customer relationship
  • Written and oral communications with appropriate management and internal staff
  • Attend job fairs, open houses, and professional/sales recruitment events as identified
  • Submit assigned activity and project tracking reports

Job Requirements

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:


  • 4 year degree or equivalent relavent work experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years experienced in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting and/or staffing environment; strong experience recruiting for corporate roles
  • Successful candidates will have excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office products and Windows based contact management system (web-based preferred).
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate a high level of service delivery and do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction including dealing with service failures
  • Demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results
  • Must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change and adapt to varying customer needs.
  • Must have the ability to develop rapport with others and build network of qualified candidates
  • Wililngness to start asap and commit to duration of assignment
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
