As the Syneos Health Commercial VP, Business Development you will identify, grow and expand the Syneos Health business development opportunities by developing and leveraging relationships with key decision-makers within biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical companies. You are competitive, proactive and passionate about business growth and business development. You should have the ability to think strategically about complex client organizations of all sizes and understand how to unlock growth in those accounts through strong prospecting skills with a deep interest, expertise, and industry network. You will think about how we can connect our unique set of integrated offerings across our Commercial Business to solve problems for our clients.
We are searching for a motivated leader with a hunter mindset responsible for generating new business by opening doors for our subject matter experts and qualifying leads. In this role, you will provide vision and direction for identifying and qualifying leads on behalf of our Syneos Health Commercial Solutions. You will manage a team of prospectors and provide targeting and messaging guidance. You will coach the team to hit targets filling our Commercial pipeline with an ongoing stream of quality opportunities – which you help qualify and participate to convert into revenue. Performance in this role will impact Syneos Health’s financial performance in three key elements: 1) pipeline opportunity generation; 2) growth through new business identification, qualification and conversion; and 3) staff performance, retention and development.

This position can be remote based or located at one of our office locations on the West Coast. Travel required 50% of the time to meet with clients and visit Syneos Health offices across the US.
